Awana club is an international, nondenominational ministry whose focus is to bring children to Christ and train them to serve Him. Children ages 3 through grade 6 are encouraged to attend. Each week features a different theme and children are involved in scripture memorization, counsel time and a 20 minute game time in the gym. The Great Awana Store is open once a month to give kids the chance to spend their hard earned Awana dollars.

Awana Theme Nights - Each week, Awana Club features a different theme. Clubbers are encouraged to join in and earn points towards the Great Awana Store for their participation. Themes such and Crazy Hairdo and Pie the Commander are favorites among Clubbers.

2 AWANA Clubs Now!!!
For the 2009 2010 Club year, AWANA will meet on Wednesdays from 4:15 - 6:00 pm and 6:30 - 8:20pm.

Take a look at the clubs that meet each week:

	For older 2 year olds and younger 3 year olds. 3 criteria must be met: 1. Must be 2 by March 1, 2010 2. Parent must stay in the building 3. Potty-trained
	Kids age 3 & 4 have a great time learning Bible stories, playing and singing songs. These little ones even start memorizing Bible verses as Cubbies. Note: Children must be 3 by March 1, 2010.
	Kindergarten through 2nd graders are collectively known as Sparkies. By now they've memorized a few verses and are really starting to get a feel for what the Bible has to say about life.
	Boys and girls in grades 3 through 6 participate in Truth & Training Clubs. Scripture memorization remains a priority and counsel time continues to teach kids how to grow into godly young men and women. Game time is still a favorite as the kids enjoy some friendly competition.
	Game time is important to kids and each group gets a 20-30 minute game session in the gym each week. Awana games are designed to teach kids teamwork and sportsmanship, while allowing them to have fun and burn some energy. Sprint Pin Pickup and Circle Relay are favorites. The Sparks love to play Sparky Crawl, Sparky Safari, Sparky Train and Rabbit Hunt. The older clubbers love to play Bean Bag Relay, Sprint Relay, Marathon Relay, Sprint Race, Balloon Relay and North Pole/South Pole just to name a few.
	24/7 Ministries is the Jr. & Sr. High extension of the AWANA Ministry.  The heart of the ministry is to prepare young people to serve Christ throughout their lives.  They're taking on leadership roles, spending quality time in God's Word and maturing in their faith. 24/7 meets on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:15 – 8:20pm . Groups are divided into TREK for 7 & 8th graders and JOURNEY for 9-12th  with each participating in: Small groups - Scripture Memory and Lessons that apply God's word to their daily lives Large group - Teaching time where the lessons they have been learning are reinforced Games time in the gym Students are also given the chance to serve as LIT's or  Leaders In Training with the younger AWANA kids. Different events during the year allow our 24/7 students to travel to local and national events to participate in Bible Quizzing, Fine Arts and AWANA games competitions.
